Yesterday was supposed to be our Kris Kringle day but sadly, I did not receive any gifts. However, when I checked the gift box today, I saw this:
Yogurt Fruit Long Sticks
This week’s Kris Kringle theme is “Something Long”. I got a pack of yogurt fruit sticks. It was 50 pieces of fruit flavored, milky goodness. I felt like a kid as I open and eat it. I may have felt bad yesterday because I did not receive anything, but my friendly gift-giver made up for it big time today. It just goes to show that something better always awaits, no matter what the circumstance may be. 🙂

The sight of the mall building, the scent of the mall aircon, the walks through the aisle, the perfect finds and everything in between… Ah! Shopping, how could one not find pleasure in you?
Today, Jade and I went shopping for our Christmas party outfits. It was so fun! We were able to tick every thing on our checklist and score lots of good finds in very friendly prices. 😀 Here’s a glimpse of our shopping loot:

I do not know how to describe it but our combination as shoppers is just perfect. Something better (and cheaper!) always comes along when we need it. Stroke of luck, magnet of good finds, wise shopping skills… whatever it may be, it sure was one hell of a good formula to Retail Nirvana. 🙂

I’d like to share a little secret: my mom is the biggest Christmas scrooge. You see, she used to loathe the holidays, the decorations, the cheery songs, the lights, etc. We don’t know why but she is just simply pissed.. until my son, Van came to this world.
Today is one great proof of that change. When I woke up this morning, she asked me to go with her to the mall to buy this dancing and singing Santa Claus which my son adores so much.

Although she bought it for my son, she too got very much delighted. I’m happy that she is now one with the world in celebrating Christmas with joy and hope. It is amusing to see people change for the better even in small little ways because the subtle things make the biggest difference. 🙂
The house starting to look like Christmas, mother transformed to a Holiday fan, plus the son happy with his new Santa friend… This day is indeed WiRified. 🙂
